Governor Whitmer just announced a three-week stay-at-home order. You can read the full order here: https://www.michigan.gov/whitmer/0,9309,7-387-90499_90705-522626–,00.html
We wanted to reach out and clarify that establishments are still allowed to sell carry-out food.
We have also contacted the Michigan Lottery and all time-based settlements will be extended for 120 days. This will be extended further if necessary. Also, for all terminal-based games (KENO), if you don’t sell, you won’t be charged as there will be nothing to take out of your account. Please contact your MI Lottery district representatives for further updates.
Deemed non-essential, the MLBA office will be closing, however, all staff will continue working from home. So, please continue to email and call us, we have set up phone forwarding, so your calls will come through to our cellphones. If nobody answers, please leave a message and someone will get back to you shortly.
We are continuing to work on a number of things that will help some of you, including:
1. Cash back for spirits purchased from February to March
2. Carry-out alcohol
3. Greater and more options for financial assistance
Thank you very much.
